Elvis is in the building!
What can I say? I’m a hunka hunka burning love, or at least that’s what my foster mama calls me. She also says I’m just a love of an overgrown puppy. Yes, my paws are a little big, and sometimes I trip over them, but I say it’s just extra places to love. I can be a bit shy, but my foster mama thinks that stems from my prior family dumping me in a shelter where sad animals were constantly crying and scared. I saw many friends come and go, and it made me very sad and shy. Once I was rescued I was scared to get in the car, unsure of where I was being taken. It didn’t take long to figure out that I was safe, and in a loving home like I’d always hoped for. On our ride home, we drove through a really big thunderstorm, and my foster mama reassured me that everything was going to be ok. Foster mama says my personality is beginning to shine through. I’ve visited a couple of those Meet & Greet’s they have, and do you know what I discovered? I LOVE PUPPIES!!! Yes, I am obviously shy, there’s just so much to take in! At home, I love watching my foster mama and my foster fur-siblings, Merry and Rocky, interact, but I kind of stay on the fringes because I’m too shy to join in. I’d really like a family of my own; so, so bad! I love to follow my foster mama around, and I imagine I’d like to do the same in my forever home too! I like licking on her hand, and going outside (I always jump with excitement!), I love treats, and the little quarter of cheese I get in the morning.
