Anise's Story...
**Anise is currently being fostered in HOUSTON. She is available for out-of-state adoption as well to the perfect family. Her adoption fee is $325, which covers her flight to her new family, a travel kennel, and she is fully vetted. **

Anise was orphaned at only a few weeks old and left in a cage all alone at the local kill shelter. She was tiny, but mighty and full of personality! She has not been afraid of anything since the day we saved her. She if playful and loving just as any kitten should be. It’s as if she never had it rough, even though she was all alone before.

Anise has an adorable little black mark just under her mouth. She also has a stripe around her back leg that is just too cute! This girl’s pictures don’t do her justice. She is adorable and her personality matches it!

**Anise is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, FIV/FeLV Negative, Dewormed and doing very well in her foster home. She is ready to find her family to complete her transformation. If our sweet girl sounds like a perfect match for your family, please email us at pawhuggers@gmail.com for more information. Her out of state adoption fee is $325 to help cover the cost of her airline flight and travel crate.**

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Anise, a Bend Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bend, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Bend.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bend already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bend breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bend paves the way for another one to be saved.
