Boaz's Story...
THIS IS NOT A WAGS AND WHISKERS DOG!

Boaz Is a 5 year old chocolate lab/bully mix! Boaz is around 80 lbs but could stand to lose a few. He was left at Wags and Whiskers vets doorstep. He has since been cared for by the wonderful stay at Parkway Animal Hospital. He's a great boy and loves people. He's big buddies with another clinic dog Sarge who is also listed on petfinder. Boaz does require proper introductions with other dogs upon meeting for the first time. Boaz keeps a clean kennel. He does have separation anxiety if left alone and not kenneled so kenneling when not home is a must! He's active and likes the outdoors! He loves belly rubs and go snuggle! He's utd, hw neg and neutered!

All dogs have a $150 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Boaz, a Grand Bay Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Grand Bay, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Grand Bay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Bay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Bay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Bay paves the way for another one to be saved.
