Meyer's Info...

Meyer's Story...
Meyer is a beautiful 2 year old boy who was born to us from a momma who we pulled from the dreaded list at the county shelter! His mom Avery, who is also listed on petfinder, appears to be a basset/schnauzer mix! We believe the daddy was a terrier mix who we also pulled from the shelter with them! Meyer has the schnauzer coat like his and longer terrier legs like his dad! He's around 30lbs! He's such a sweet boy! He's calm but still playful! He does great with other dogs but not cats! He and his mother were originally adopted together but do to the living situation of their owner changing they are being surrendered back to us! We would live to see them go to a home together but they do perfectly fine apart! He's utd, hw tested and neutered!

All dogs have a $150 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Meyer, a Grand Bay Schnauzer (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Grand Bay, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Grand Bay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Bay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Bay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Bay paves the way for another one to be saved.
