My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Peaches is an orange and white male, with gorgeous amber eyes. He was a stray, who has been neutered, and treated by his current family's vet for all the required treatments. He has made a full recovery from his outside life, but has been diagnosed with FIV. Despite the diagnosis, his health is good. He's is a gentle loving cat who loves to sit on your lap and cuddle. He is very relaxed, and only meows when you feed him. He is clean, and goes in his box. He is relaxed around dogs, and currently lives in a foster home with a St. Bernard. He needs a loving new forever home. He would be a great house cat, and loves to be loved and petted.

Note about FIV from TCR: Peaches has tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). FIV+ cats can live long happy lives with a good diet, low stress, indoor homes, loving families, and annual vet check-ins. He does not require medication. He can live in a home with other non-FIV+ cats, as the virus is only passed to other cats by blood (ie. deep bite marks). Please do not judge him based on a blood test!

Peaches is participating in our Courtesy Adoption Posting Program and is not the property of Toronto Cat Rescue.
