When I picked her up and placed her and her only baby in my cat room. Gucci was so sad. She had a very bad eye infection, her coat was dull and gray and her eyes were filled with defeat. She just broke my heart. I explained to her that she would never be hungry or cold or pregnant ever again. I wasnt sure if she was well enough to be able to take care of her baby so I kept supplementing the baby with a bottle. After 3 days I could see the look in her eyes change. She was starting to trust me and relax. Her coat became shiny and clean, her eye infection cleared up. she ended up being the foster mom to several more orphans.
Now its her turn for a forever home. She is going to start out shy. But if you give her some time you will see how sweet she is . She purrs on contact and is very gentle. She gets along very very well with my other cats. Never hissed once since I have had her.
