My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

All 16lbs of Scotty is comical personality! He is super playful, has the 'zoomies' almost hourly & a real ham with cheeky, puppy antics. He has not quite got control of his ears yet & the effect is a hilarious form of semaphore!

Scotty is a typical puppy, learning his manners, how to walk on a leash nicely etc. He is very smart & doing incredibly well with potty training. He is clean & dry overnight in his crate and no accidents with free rein of the house when he is taken or let out every 2-4hrs during the day.

Scotty is in a foster home with 6 other dogs, both large & small, male & female and children ages 9+. He gets along wonderfully with everyone & when he's not playing & making us laugh he LOVES to snuggle.
If you have room in your heart & home for an incredibly cute little character who will keep you laughing & give unconditional love 24/7, come & meet Scotty!

Scotty is a male/n Scottish Terrier mix born March 2016.

AS WITH ALL YOUNG PUPS, this puppy will need constant supervision when not crated. Puppies will chew and get into trouble as any puppy would. A puppy needs a leader and someone to teach the basics of house training, obedience, and behavior. At the ages of 10-16 weeks, puppies tend to tire easily and take lots of naps. As they get older, they will need more exercise (walks, hikes, playing fetch, etc) to expend their energy and to be happy and healthy.

Don't get us wrong, we love puppies! However, we also want those interested in adopting a wee canine to make a thoughtful decision, be realistic in behavior expectations, and be prepared to provide proper and kind leadership.

For more information on our adoption process, please visit our website at www.youluckydogrescue.org and read our Adoption FAQ's and Before You Adopt documents. In addition you can complete an online adoption application from our website. You can also email info@youluckydogrescue.org for additional details.

Our adoption fee is $250 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. The breed and age included in this listing is based upon the opinion of a vet that has examined the dog. We cannot confirm the age of the dog unless the dog was born in the care of the rescue. We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions as a home check is required as part of the adoption process.
