Brandy's Story...
"Brandy" is a beautiful 3-year old female Boxer who arrived at the HSOV on July 22, 2016 after she was picked up in Cutler Ohio by the Washington County Dog Warden. This little sweetheart has a dark brown/brindle short smooth coat, a white bib on her chest, a docked tail, and a classic Boxer face with a short black muzzle and natural uncropped ears. "Brandy" has a pleasant, outgoing personality and was super-friendly to everyone she met while she had her glamour photos taken. She has obviously given birth to puppies recently and may still have been nursing her babies, so we hope that someone recognizes her and knows her family. "Brandy" weighs 43.2 lbs. She walks gently on a leash. "Brandy" will be available for adoption on July 25, 2016 if she is not reclaimed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brandy, a Marietta Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
