Carrots's Story...
Carrots is the perfect combination of snuggle bunny and playful kitten and his purr box is always revved up. Carrots loves to play all day with foster friends and will happily spend all afternoon chasing his toys and laser pointer around the house. In between play sessions he loves to spend a lazy afternoon snuggling and watching tv and always cuddles all night with his foster mom. This peppy kitten is litter box trained, dewormed, up to date on shots, and neutered. He's looking forward to having a furrever home of his own with a family that appreciates his sweet, fun-loving personality.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Carrots, a Chapel Hill Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Chapel Hill, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Chapel Hill.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chapel Hill already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chapel Hill breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chapel Hill paves the way for another one to be saved.
