TJ's Story...
TJ is one of the nicest and sweetest dogs you'll ever meet. She was brought to Friendship because her owner had a change in lifestyle and could no longer keep her. TJ is a gentle girl that likes to go for walks and is good on a leash. She is very people friendly and likes most dogs. It's not known if she like cats or not. TJ is 6 years old and is hoping to get back into a loving home for the holidays. She would be a wonderful companion pet and is loved by all at Friendship.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

TJ, a Elyria Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Elyria, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Elyria.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elyria already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elyria breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elyria paves the way for another one to be saved.
