Facts about Tobi
Breed: Domestic Shorthair
Color: Brown Tabby
already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Tobi is a real sweet boy who may seem shy at first, but he’s really still in kitten mode and thinks you want to play when you try to get close to him. He plays hard-to-get, but loves the attention once you pick him up. Everything is fascinating to him, so he will look around for something to get into when you’re holding him. He’s one of the first in line for the morning wet food, and sounds like baby Godzilla when he meows because he still has his kitten voice. There are no other kittens at his foster dad’s house, so he doesn’t hesitate to wrestle with some of the adult cats. He is fearless! He loves to play with his mouse toy, and will usually take it to the bathtub to swat around. He goes absolutely bonkers when he sees the red laser pointer light, and will chase it tirelessly. After play time he’ll jump on the couch and lie next to his foster dad, getting his head rubbed while he takes a nap. He is a heart-breaker, and would be a loyal life-long companion for someone willing to give him a forever home. Tobi is neutered, micro-chipped, and up to date on age appropriate shots. He is fostered in Huntsville Alabama, but is not fussy about where he goes, as long as he is loved, and an inside kitty. Friends of Rescue is a certified 501(c)(3) organization formed in 2009, consisting of volunteers who are devoted to saving shelter animals that are in danger of euthanasia. Southern shelters have a constant overflow of dogs and cats, little funding, and limited space. Once the animals arrive at the shelter, they have very little time. It is our goal to help save these adoptable animals and find loving individuals/families who will provide committed, FORever homes. We are NOT professional trainers or animal behaviorists; simply volunteers who are trying to save these animals from euthanasia. Each animal in our program is in a foster home and receives all age-appropriate vetting while in our care.
