Jersey's Story...
ersey Girl is a 10 week old black tabby kitten. Jersey is cuddly and friendly and loves coming to say hi. She is playful and fun and adorable. She was the runt of her litter but has a string will and she has done well even though she is smaller than everybody. Her litter includes Echo, Ferris, Google, and Indy if you happen to be looking for two. She is used to adult cats and dogs of many sizes. She is up to date on shots, neutered and microchipped. She is fostered in Huntsville Alabama, but isn't too fussy about where she goes, as long as she is loved, and kept inside.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jersey, a Marietta Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
