Meet Liz and Dick! These two are having a whirlwind romance and can't bear to be apart. Liz and Dick met in California and were brought into the shelter together by Animal Control. With the help of Miracle GSD Network, we sprung these two lovebirds and soon after they started their journey here. Traveling coast to coast; they saw the sights, shared moonlit walks together and their bond strengthened. By the time they arrived here, the two were inseparable, their hearts entwined. As Liz told us she is "unconditionally and irrevocably in love with Dick." Dick had this to say about Liz, "Whatever our souls are made out of, hers and mine are the same." Yeah, Dick is a bit of a romantic at 4 years old and apparently well read. Liz is entering her golden years, we think she is about 8 years young. These two are up to date on all vaccines and Dick is already neutered. They are a little shy when they meet new people but quickly come out of their shells to wag tails and give kisses. If you have room in your heart for these two, don't wait to fill out an application. http://www.redemptionshepherd.com/#!online-application/frlhw . *** We do not set up meet and greets without an approved application. ***
Redemption German Shepherd Rescue is foster-based 501c3 rescue headquartered in Northwest Indiana. Our focus is on senior and adult German Shepherds.
Our mission is to give homeless and discarded German Shepherds a safe and loving environment while they recover with needed love, medical treatments and/or training while being rehabilitated to the point where they can be placed in furever homes.
We will never settle for second best – not in our board members, volunteers, fosters or adopters. Our commitment to the highest quality of care for our dogs will never be ignored. Our love and passion for the German Shepherd dog compels us to place the dog’s well-being first and foremost. We will care for each dog as if it were a member of our family.
We understand that there are a lot of unwanted dogs and we cannot save them all. But we will strive to make a difference in the lives that we do save!
