Dixie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Dixie's Story...
Dixie had a very crappy life until we took her in. She lived in a kennel her whole life. Sadly she was neglected of vet care and teated possitive for heartworm. To spite this, she is such a great dog. She is quiet, calm and very sweet. She is a tad shy until she knows you. She is potty trained and a complete joy to have in your home. She doesn't get into anything. She is about 5 years young. She is spayed, had a dental and going through heartworm treatment. She will be ready for adoption soon.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dixie, a Red Bluff Australian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees for sale in Red Bluff, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in Red Bluff.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Red Bluff already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Red Bluff breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Red Bluff paves the way for another one to be saved.
