My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Save room in your heart for sweet Sally. She was adopted a few weeks ago and recently returned because her owner went into a nursing home. Sally is a 9-10 year old healthy retriever mix. The family said that she was house trained and had manners in the home, was great on a leash and likes other dogs. They were very sad to give her up. Sally is people friendly too. Sally can't figure out why she's back at Friendship. She dreams of getting back into a loving home ASAP. Can you make her dreams come true? Carly is featured with Sally in the first photo. She loved spending time with Sally after visiting Friendship with a nice donation. Carly saved her allowance for weeks to help animals in need. We could not save lives without people like Carly!

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
