Arya's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Arya's Story...
Arya is a happy girl that is just looking for someone with a little patience to train her. She has "sit" down pat, but needs some help with her other basic commands. When we first got her, she did not know how to walk on a leash, but she has gotten much better at that since! She likes her bones and does enjoy a toy occasionally. She still has some puppy in her and would love an active owner that is going to keep her busy. She would also most likely do well with another dog, to "show her the ropes". Please submit an application today for Arya!

Act quickly to adopt Arya. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Arya, a Poughkeepsie Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bull Terrier for sale in Poughkeepsie, or seeking a Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Poughkeepsie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Poughkeepsie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Poughkeepsie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bull Terrier breeders who help with Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Poughkeepsie paves the way for another one to be saved.
