Facts about Stormey Night

  • Breed: Domestic Mediumhair
  • Color: Black (All)
  • Age: Kitten
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: 30749434
  • Hair: Unknown
Stormy is a very special Black (with a tiny bit of white) Tabby. She was thrown out of a car window onto the property where she is now being fostered. Stormy suffered a few cuts and scratches from that experience, but nothing too terrible and has now healed and is ready to be adopted. Not only did the people that threw little Stormy out of the car window treat her poorly, they also neglected her as she was malnourished and had many skin issues. Now Stormy is a plump little kitten, no hungry belly for her, and her beautiful black fur is growing nicely. Stormy is a very active girl as she is making up for lost kitten time. For the first month she lived with her foster family, she had to be in isolation until the skin issues cleared up. Now that she is off contact precautions, she is running, jumping, playing and demanding cuddles. Stormy’s purrs sound like thunder coming from the most grateful kitty in the county. Stormy is FIV/Leukemia negative, vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped. Stormy is looking for someone that will keep her inside with them and allow her to cuddle and love them forever. If that special someone is you, please ask to meet Stormy.

About S.A.V.E. Rescue Coalition - TX Chapter

About Our Rescue Group...

S.A.V.E. Rescue Coalition works to promote adoption through new adoption events, more public exposure of pets for adoption, and help the public make a good match with an adoptable animal.
Rescue groups work very hard to save animals every day, often using their own money, sacrificing time with family etc. We have animals from shelters and the streets of Houston that are now adoptable pets and we area helping these animals find permanent, loving homes.
We are all volunteer and no funds are spent for salaries, benefits etc. All money goes directly to the rescue group or their animals.

Our Adoption Process...

Adoption fee range from $150-200 for dogs and $75-100 for cats and each animal is altered, microchipped and current on all vaccinations. You will be required to complete an application for your selected pet. You can do so at www.saverescue.org/adoptionapplication. Processing may take up to 3 days. The application will include previous pet experience and vet info, how you will house your new pet and a little about your lifestyle so that we can be sure your pet will mesh with your family's activity level. We want you to have a permanent family member so we will take great care to assure that you find a suitable companion.
