Dino is a character. He has a lot of personality and loves to be a lap dog! He is an older guy but is very spry and active for his age. He appears in good health other than a bit of cataracts (cloudiness in eye) but that does not slow him down. He absolutely loves to play with stuffed squeaky toys and runs and romps around in the yard at his foster home. He is doing well in his "group home" getting used to being a pack member and sharing attention. He is a funny dog who will make a great little companion! His adoption fee is $200. If you would like to meet this little guy, please submit an application. Apply online at:

About Lucky Dog Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Lucky Dog Rescue came into existence after one individual started saving one dog at a time back in late March of 2004. It began as a Dalmatian rescue, originally named Phoenix Dalmatian Station.

After seeing so many nice, highly adoptable dogs sitting in concrete cells in the county shelters, being put to sleep when no one came to the rescue, it quickly evolved into an all breed commitment, and we began saving several other breeds and mixes too! We are now a growing group of dog lovers who help all breeds and are committed to giving dogs a second chance at finding a forever home.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our dogs can be seen at weekly adoption events throughout the valley or by appointment. Please visit for the most current information.

Our Adoption Process...

Our current adoption fee for adults (> 8 months old) is $250 and for puppies (< 8 months old) the fee is $300. The Adoption fee for senior dogs (7+ years) is $200. These fees cover the vaccines, microchipping, neuter/spay surgery, county license, and vet check for the dog.

Before an adoption can take place we do require that all potential adopters fill out an application. Once the application has been approved a home visit may be conducted. All adopters must sign a contract in order to finalize the adoption.
