I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Souther's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Souther's Story...
Souther is a sweet and beautiful young GSD. We are guessing that he is aprox 2 years of age.
He has completed basic Obedience Training with Valor K9 Academy.
We believe Souther spent much of his life outside and he is getting use to being an inside pup. He mostly wants to be where ever his human is!
He has a wonderful disposition but still is learning manners. He will sometimes jump when he is excited to see you!
He has great energy, loves walks, hikes and bike rides.
If you are interested in being considered to adopt Souther, please submit an adoption application found on our website www.highergroundanimalsanctuary.org.
PLEASE REFRAIN FROM SENDING INQUIRIES THAT ARE NOT ACCOMPANIED BY A COMPLETED ADOPTION APPLICATION. Scan & email to info@highergroundanimalsanctuary.org. Souther will go to a home with a fenced yard, and with solid plans to continue training. This breed is very intelligent and high energy, and will require a home where they will get plenty of exercise and training.
Souther is up to date on shots, microchipped, and spayed/neutered.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Souther, a Mead German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Mead, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Mead.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mead already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mead breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mead paves the way for another one to be saved.
