So if you have room in your home & heart for a little gal like me, please send a email(email@example.com). I can't wait to meet you.
I have had a thorough health evaluation including spay and vaccinations. I have had a complete dental cleaning under anesthesia.
All our pups are available as long as their listing is up. The adoption process moves very quickly and most families are approved within 48 hours.
The adoption procedure involves these steps:
1. Complete an application.
2. Interview with one of our volunteers
3. Home Safety Evaluation
4. Meet and greet with the pet.
Prior to rescue, many of our dogs have experienced minimal socialization. As a result, there is often an adjustment period as the dog learns about life as a family pet. We typically do not adopt to homes with children under 8 years old; homes with older children will be considered on an individual basis. Common skills such as house training and leash walking may often take a little extra time. Patience, understanding and a gentle hand are a must. The great news is, most of these dogs come around rather quickly and being a part of their rehabilitation is an extremely rewarding experience.
Since Boomi is just a pup, she would thrive in an environment that would take her on daily walks and teach her how to be a good canine citizen. She is eager to please and would do well in an obedience training course or agility class.
*Boomi will be coming to Northern Va area to find her forever home from Donghae, Korea.
If interested in Boomi please email us with a little info about you, your family, your other pets, your experience as a dog owner (which breed, etc.), where you live (which city, home or apt?), etc. included telephone number. Thank you.
Your message has been sent to Hope for Donghae Paws(VIRGINIA).
You'll receive a copy, too, at to help you keep track of which pets you've inquired about, and which shelters and rescues you've emailed.
NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter! Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures, on the pet's details page on Adopt-a-Pet.com.
