LORELEI IN KS's Story...

This little Cairn mix is a very sweet girl just looking for a new family to cuddle! Lorelei is about a year old, and is a very petite 10.5 pounds. She's very polite on a leash, and gets along well with most other dogs - she would prefer to be the only girl in the house, though. She enjoys romps in the park, hanging out in the backyard, and snuggling on the couch. Lorelei would be an excellent dog for someone who would like a Cairn, but needs a slightly calmer dog. She does have the Cairn willingness to write the rules if none are provided, however, so her new owner will need to ensure they have a few boundaries. LORELEI is being fostered in OVERLAND PARK, KANSAS in a PRIVATE FOSTER HOME but we allow our dogs to be adopted out all over the United States and Canada!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

LORELEI IN KS, a Topeka Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier for sale in Topeka, or seeking a Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Topeka.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Topeka already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Topeka breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Topeka paves the way for another one to be saved.
