My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lily was thrown out by a scumbag just a day or so before she was to give birth. The lady that found her contacted our rescue and ending up sending her to me the evening of the April 29th. I checked on her the next morning and she had already had her puppies. She was a wonderful mother and guarded those babies with her life. Just to give you an idea of how great a mother she was, she also took in three abandoned kittens and nursed them until they were old enough to do for themselves. I had nothing to do with that, she and the kittens did that on their own. The kittens just showed up in her pen one day and she took it from there. Her puppies and kittens have grown up and since been weaned, so Lily is ready to be the center of attention with a new family and home of her own. She VERY friendly, VERY sweet, GREAT natured and she LOVES attention. She is great around kids, other dogs and obviously cats. She is approximately 3 years old and she weighs 13 pounds. She has been spayed, fecal tested, microchipped, current on all vaccines, wormed and is on heartworm and flea prevention. She will be ready to leave the week of August 8th. Her adoption fee is $375.

Lily is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted she will be transported to her pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the New England area every week and her fee does include transportation.
