My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Dolly. She is an Umbrella Cockatoo, presumed to be female and she is at least 10 years old. Dolly cane from a good home and was very loved. Her owner had debilitating health issues and could no longer afford to take care of her. She is a super sweet bird, loves to cuddle, hang out on your shoulder, and enjoys spending time outside of her cage. She tends to do well with structure and routine however if there is any deviation from it, she will get grumpy and start screaming. She talks and says her name as well as pretty bird and I love you. As with all cockatoos, they can be very loud, destructive, and demanding. She is female preferential and does not get along with other birds, therefore she will not be adopted out to a male, NO EXCEPTIONS. She would do best in a home as a single bird and with someone who who has cockatoo experience and is familiar with their needs.
