Sandy's Story...
Sandy is a very sweet girl who loves car rides, bubbles, playing fetch, and showers. She is very loyal to her person and willing to please. She knows basic commands and is now working on advance commands. She would be a great workout partner for someone looking to get into shape and is excited to do doggy push ups. She loves kids and watermelon is one of her favorite treats! She also gets along with her foster brother and sisters (big and small). She is not food or toy aggressive and does not jump on furniture unless you welcome it. She is heartworm negative, up to date on shots and spayed as well. She is also fully potty trained and crate trained. She is one amazing girl and is looking for her forever family. Is it yours?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sandy, a Pittsboro Labrador Retriever/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Boxer for sale in Pittsboro, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Boxer dog from a breeder in Pittsboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pittsboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pittsboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Boxer breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pittsboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
