My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

URGENT FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED (ALL EXPENSES INCLUDING FOOD AND MEDICAL PAID TO FOSTER)
Adorable, sweet Spanky was rescued from a public shelter at the last minute. The shelter said, he had an owner who never came for him. Spanky's appearance shows, that he had a hard life. But he's healthy according to the shelter vet and our vet and he sure is sweet as pie. He's currently boarding at the vet and getting his dry skin treated but he urgently needs foster or forever home. Spanky is very gentle and goofy. He gives little kisses and loves to be by your side. Spanky won't say no to snacks and he rides great in the car. He will just jump in and then sit nicely in the backseat. Spanky will do best in a home with yard access and with someone who will give him a calm, loving environment.
He is such a sweet, sensitive boy and has so much love to offer.
Spanky is now a safe, happy and very affectionate boy. He is an adult and weighs approximately 50 pounds. PLEASE WATCH HIS VIDEO: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SPkA7eoTq9s
He is healthy, neutered, current on all vaccines, and microchipped.
SPANKY IS NOT IN ANY DANGER OF BEING KILLED! HE JUST NEEDS A CALM, SAFE PLACE TO STAY UNTIL HE FINDS HIS FOREVER HOME.
Foster / adoption only open to Southern California residents. We do not foster / adopt any of our dogs to households with children under 10 years old.
A foster / adoption application must be filled out PRIOR to anyone meeting any of our dogs.
