My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kitty came to us many years ago. She was a happy surprise; a stray dog roaming the streets alone and tired. We speculate that most stray dogs once had owners; they were abandoned, left behind, or got out and were never found or even looked for. We knew Kitty once had a home. She had on a single tag around a collar on her neck. It said "homeless". We named this precious dog Homeless. We figured it was fitting. It was a somewhat sad reminder of where she came from; a sad reminder that she was loved once, but not anymore. Homeless had a hard time getting accustomed to the kennel life. Homeless needed more. She needed more love, more affection, more walks, more time in the yard. Homeless was a free spirit trapped in the limiting life of a shelter dog. We were completely thrilled when a loving home came along!! Homeless was renamed Kitty; a permanent shedding of her old life and old name to start a new adventure as a free and happy dog!! Kitty lived happily for a long time with her family. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, her family is now in a situation where they cannot keep her. Kitty is "Homeless" again. Kitty needs a place to belong. Kitty needs a forever home.

Kitty is an American Bulldog and an adult. She does great in the house and enjoys the lazy life of a dog who just lounges on the bed all day long. She knows how to be in a home and being in a home is exactly what she deserves. Please don't let this girl experience the feelings that once came with the label "homeless". She needs us.
