Rachel's Story...
Hello, I am Rachel. I am a grey domestic short hair female tabby with white socks. My date of birth is 3/30/2016 so I am 4 months old. I came to the shelter with my siblings when our momma was a stray and pregnant. We have been raised in a foster home but now that it is time to find our furever home we are ready. I love to run around chasing toys and play with my siblings. I also love to be petted and cuddled. I am use to big dogs although I may need to warm up to new dogs. I am a curious kitten and love to explore my area. I am litterbox trained. I would love to make your home my furever home! My adoption fee of $95 is very inclusive – I am neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped, wormed, tested negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV and I am current on monthly Frontline. Please consider making me part of your family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rachel, a Hawk Point Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Hawk Point, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Hawk Point.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hawk Point already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hawk Point breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hawk Point paves the way for another one to be saved.
