  • Sex: Male
  • ID#: Jon Jon
Jon Jon is a ~6 year old male Beagle that came to us a from a NJ shelter where he was surrendered by his owner. With a super outgoing personality, this happy and friendly boy loves people and other dogs! He greets everyone with whole body wags and loves to give kisses!

Jon Jon has been neutered, is current on vaccinations, and is microchipped. Unfortunately, his previous owner did not provide him with regular veterinary care including important monthly heartworm preventatives. As a result he was infected with heartworms when he first came to us. Although heartworm disease is a serious condition, it is also very treatable, and with our help, Jon Jon has received the important veterinary care he needed. He is expected to make a full recovery and live a normal, healthy life.

Jon Jon is overweight and is currently on a special diet to help him slim down. The good news is he has already lost over 10 pounds!! He LOVES food so his new family will need to be diligent about proper feeding and treats to keep him on the right track.

Jon Jon is a super affectionate Beagle that loves people and other dogs. He enjoys going for walks and just chillin' with people. He's patiently waiting to meet his forever family. Could it be you?
