Betsy's Story...
Betsy was rescued from a rural, high kill facility where she was scheduled to be killed the next day. Betsy was really shy when we pulled her but warmed up very nicely in her foster home. She was fostered with older kids and cats.

She has been spayed, vaccinated for FVCRP & rabies, microchipped, wormed and flea treated with Revolution. She is available for adoption with a donation of only $50 and includes a wellness exam with a local vet and her medical records
She is available for meet/greets at the PetsMart on Abercorn Street during business hours. If you would like to adopt her, bring cash for the adoption and if you have a carrier please bring it too. Or you can purchase a carrier or carboard carrier at Petsmart. Due to insurance, all animals must leave the store in a carrier.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Betsy, a Hinesville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Hinesville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Hinesville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hinesville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hinesville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hinesville paves the way for another one to be saved.
