Meet Duncan. Duncan is a 4 year old Yorkie mix who came into The Pet Rescue Center after his family could no longer care for him. He is an awesome little dog with a big personality! Having lived with a family his whole life he gets along great with kids and has yet to meet a person he doesn't like. Belly rubs.....yes please! He has his basic manners training but does still need a little work on leash, he just can't wait to get going on his walks. Since he has been with us he has made fast friends and we hope you will give him a second chance at the family he deserves.
ADOPTION PROCESS:
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. Completed applications can be submitted online, faxed to (949) 743-5878 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Our mission is to save the lives of dogs and cats at risk of euthanasia. The Pet Rescue Center is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
