Hi I’m Nestle, an 11-year-old, spayed female, chocolate Labrador Retriever. Some wonderful people from Black Dog Walk started fostering me on 07/19/16, and I’m so happy they took me in! I’m a little camera shy, but you should see me in person! I’m beautiful!
My coat currently is in rough shape, but my fosters have put me on a good diet and are brushing me daily, which will make it shine again in no time. Although I am deaf, but that doesn’t stop me from doing anything; I am very attentive to anyone I am around, which makes it easy to communicate with.
I am fully house trained and very well-mannered in the house. I get along with my foster dog siblings and am just curious about the cats; I haven’t chased them. I love rubs and scratches and will give wet, sloppy kisses if you let me!
I am crazy about playing with a tennis ball! But due to my age and arthritis my foster parents limit my time chasing balls. As long as I can see the ball, I will bark for you to throw it some more! When I bring the ball back, instead of handing it to you I’ll toss it at your feet!
Besides my arthritis, I seem to be in very good health. I’m really sweet and loving, and just want to be loved and have a chance to play ball once in a while. Would you be the person to give me a forever home?
My $50 adoption fee includes my up-to-date vaccines, microchip. If you are interested in adopting me, please contact BDW for an application. A $25 deposit will hold me until a home check can be done, and the remaining $25 will be due before taking me home.
