Are you looking for a well-mannered large dog? Meet Charlie, who came to the Coronado Animal Care Facility as a stray and is now looking for his forever home. Charlie is a male Dutch Shepherd who is 6 years old and weighs 67 pounds.

With his regal looks and loving personality, this handsome canine is ready to start the next chapter of his life with a new family. Charlie is smart, loyal and obedient. He knows his basic commands and follows the lead of his human companion. He is always engaged with whatever is going on around him, smiling continuously as he goes about his day. Charlie greets those that he meets with enthusiasm and rides well in a car. He loves long walks on a leash, but will need a strong human companion to guide him. Due to his size, a household with older children or just adults would suit him best. Come meet Charlie today and see what a great addition he can be to your household!

The Coronado Animal Care Facility is open 9:00am – 4:00pm daily, except major holidays. It is located at 1395 First Street, at the south end of the Ferry Landing complex.

If you are interested in an adoption, you must first complete a dog adoption application and meet with a PAWS of Coronado dog adoption counselor. You may complete an application at the Coronado ACF, the online dog adoption application or email dogadoptions@pawsofcoronado.org.
