My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

located in Redding

www.sadt.info

Kemper is 4.5 years young, perfect size at around 50 healthy well taken care off pounds
well trained and best manners, he's fun outside and great indoors has been very loved since pup in same home
Kemper does not like to live with infants and toddlers so he's looking to live out his many years to come in a more suitable home where he does not get the daily aggravation of a toddler pulling poking falling on him etc
Would love a young retired couple in the country ideal but not a must
or someone that has time is home during the day and wants a sidekick that's already fully trained
big fenced yard ideal must become part of the family
Amazing, loving dog, very sweet. Loves to run around on hikes, will play fetch until he collapses if you are willing. Loves to sit at your feet while watch tv or read a book. Will sit patiently watching near the dinner table just in case flood drops, but never begs for it.

Good with other dogs, okay with cats, good with older kids above age 8 and up
prefer adult home
a great beach dog
loves to Fetch! Hikes, lounging around

please be a stable homeowner over the age of 28 years that's fun likes to play fetch with the dog and interact, a very loving family that will appreciate a dog like Kemper
Looking for a young retired couple that's still active and fun that won't have toddlers around too often, he's not aggressive towards toddlers/kids but any dog or person that keeps getting aggrevated by constant poking pulling etc will/can loose their patience so looking for a better environment for this awesome very well trained boy
Kemper is NOT aggressive
not shy nor skittish
Kemper has lived in a home where the person knew how to be a natural

good pack leader looking for same
only dog/breed experienced please
we are in no rush to place him as we want that right match for life

Kemper would make a great beachdog
he's a great dog to have as he has lived in the same caring home all his life kept on a good diet, trained and very loved as well as vet care etc
Kemper lives with a few other dogs now but can be the only dog prefer an adult home but as stated a nice older child or two would be fine kids that have been trained to respect animals
Kemper was never in a pound and still resides with his family until we find him that awesome matching family
Approved applicant can have all questions answered by owner
Kemper has never bitten nor scratched anyone the family can see that Kemper would be much happier in a home without toddlers so looking for an adult home another dog or few nice dogs his energy level maybe a friendly girlfriend be ideal but only dog fine with right folks that have lots of time are fun like adventures at least on weekends and are home during the day
no apartments
must have a fenced yard

He is not food aggressive at all with humans!  I can take his food in the middle of him eating no problem!

I can trim his nails on my own, brush his teeth, look him over, and pretty much anything medical all on my own.  He is very well behaved for this, that was very important to me from a little age on

He is around cats all the time at my work, and we used to have one ourselves.  He doesn't mind them one bit!

He wants love and affection, but he does not like people directly in his face so no kissy kissy face etc that's not the kind of dog Kemper is
If your looking for a snuggle buddy etc he's not going to be the one he rather play fetch then snuggle

He knows "sit", "kennel" and "down".  We also make him "wait" for his food after we put it down in front of him.  Not long but he has to have eye contact with us for a few seconds, then we release him to eat.  Thats pretty much it.  We don't do tons of commands.  He loves his crate!  He is totally potty trained, but we never leave him too long without a potty break. (we try not to ever go over 6 hours max)
His favorite thing in the whole world is to play ball or frisbee!  He could go forever. He loves hiking with his person too!  He would rather be inside hanging out with his owner then being left alone in the yard which we totally agree the way it should be
He likes water, but will not swim so running at the beach after a ball would be just fine
