Tiko's Info...

I am already neutered and up to date with shots.

Tiko's Story...
Tiko came to us from a shelter after he was found wandering. The shelter reports he is 12, although he behaves like a young dog and has clear eyes that indicate he may be younger. His foster said he is a sweet, playful dog and likes to follow her around the house. He seems to prefer women to men. He has been neutered, and will have his teeth cleaned before he is adopted. He walks fine on the leash and is house trained. He does not love the crate very much, he escaped to the first time he was in it! He was so matted at that shelter that he had to be shaved down.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tiko, a Millersville Miniature Schnauzer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Schnauzer for sale in Millersville, or seeking a Miniature Schnauzer dog from a breeder in Millersville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Millersville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Millersville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Schnauzer breeders who help with Miniature Schnauzer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Millersville paves the way for another one to be saved.
