Bello's Story...
Hey there! I'm Mr. Bello. I'm a leggy little guy with a fun personality and adorable shaggy hair. I love to play on my dog bed at my fosters house and do well with the other small little dogs in the house. My foster mom says I always keep her laughing since I can pretty much be content playing fetch by myself. Speaking of fetch, bring me in your backyard and I will bring the ball back to you for as long as you want. I also love to snuggle and watch movies. I'm here just here waiting for the perfect family to have a blast with. Don't forget to check out my video!
All of our pets start their journey in Memphis Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted.

Our adoption application can be found at http://www.aliverescuememphis.org/adoptionapplication/

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you submit an application immediately to start the adoption process. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, ALIVE Rescue Memphis is operated 100% by volunteers. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.

Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well educated decision from well qualified staff.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bello, a Nashville Lhasa Apso/Wheaten Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso/Wheaten Terrier for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Lhasa Apso/Wheaten Terrier dog from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso/Wheaten Terrier breeders who help with Lhasa Apso/Wheaten Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
