Polly #17-593. Arrived 10/7/2017 at 6-7 years old.
Polly is a dog who came to us as a stray and it was obvious that she has spent more time then usual outside and without care. Polly wants nothing more then to be with the person she is with. She never strays further then a few feet away when you walk with her in the play yard. Polly is also extremely obedient when you tell her to come, she needs reassurance that she is coming for a good reason and not because you are upset with her. Polly is just freeing up enough to show interest in toys, but she prefers to be close and have a gentle hand on her. Polly will even gently jump her upper body into your lap to have more attention. Polly has taken well to learning her commands and she LOVES her treats! Polly appears to have had a life of making litters, and she came to us with two different types of intestinal parasites for which she has been treated. If you are looking for a Pitbull who wants the attention of a Golden Retriever....then Polly is your girl! Polly was adopted from us a year ago, but unfortunately just came back due to changes going on in the home. Polly has been living in a home and we would love to see her right away into another home so that she does not have to sit in the shelter as she has in the past.
