My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Thor is a 4 year old American Bulldog. He is a wonderful dog that the staff and volunteers have fallen in love with. He is approximately 2-3 years of age. He is very mellow. He loves two things: water and balls! He LOVES to play with a tennis ball! And he loves to play in the kiddie pool at the shelter! Thor needs a home where he can be part of the family, NOT just thrown into the backyard. He would do great indoors because he is housebroken. Now, the first few weeks would take some adjusting, but that is typical. The staff have said that he tries very hard to hold his pee and poo the very long hours that he is in kennel. He gets along great with kids, other dogs and doesn't even notice cats. Yesterday he played very good with twin 8 year old girls that were volunteering at the shelter, but because he is so large, he would probably do best in a house that has children out of the small stage (4 and under) because he could accidentally knock them over. He MUST have a fenced yard. We don't want him to end up homeless again. He does have a food allergy and has to be fed grain free dog food, which is sold about anywhere these days.
