â¤ JACK â¤ Jack is a handsome 7 yr old male cocker spaniel in need of a new home. Jack is a fun companion who loves to go on hikes, play ball, and otherwise spend time outdoors. He's a cautious, timid boy at times, but gets over it with encouragement (a 'Good Boy, Jack' is all he usually needs in order to feel secure). Once Jack gets to know a person, he enjoys being petted and getting a good back scratch. Jack is fine with friendly dogs, but cannot live with cats. He needs a kind, compassionate, and understanding guardian who will give him time to adjust. A quieter environment would be best for Jack. Jack does have a few resource guarding issues (food, toys, etc) so is not a dog for children. All of Jack's medical needs have been addressed (he is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and in good health), so he is all ready to go. All he needs now is a place to call home and someone to call his owner.
