Rex's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Rex's Story...
Welcome Rex. He is a cute low rider. We think he is a Rat Terrier/Pug mix. He is about 15 pounds and a 1 year old. He has the cute curly tail like the Pug and sturdy body. He is adorable. Due to his small size he would be good in a home with children 11 and older. He is would be best in a home with a small female or as an only dog. He has lots of personality and a cute face to match. He is good on a leash, good in a crate, good with most dogs, is neutered and up on his shots. He came in with heartworm but has been successfully treated and is ready for his new forever home. We will be using a transporter to deliver him to his East Coast Home. Rescue Road Trips can deliver him to VA, PA, NJ, NY, CT and VT. Contact me for an application.

Act quickly to adopt Rex. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rex, a Pluckemin Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Pluckemin, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Pluckemin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pluckemin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pluckemin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pluckemin paves the way for another one to be saved.
