My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Cherokee and I am looking for a home! I can be shy when first meeting new people and going to new places, but once I am comfortable, I am sweet and loving. Head rubs are one of my favorite things along with cheek and chin scratches! I also like hanging out and playing with other cats – but not pushy ones! Ribbons and feather toys are high on my list as fun things to play with. I love chasing the red dot and almost caught it once! I am not your run of the mill tabby because my ticked fur makes me unique and beautiful. I take fastidious care of my coat and maintain a rigorous daily beauty routine.

My ideal home would be a quiet one since I can be a bit intimidated by loud noises and such. I’d love to have a feline friend who, like me, is quiet but playful! I like having people around to hang out with and plenty of space to wander and explore. Cat trees, windows, and a soft bed to snuggle in would make it perfect.

I may be shy at first, but once I get to know you, I will love to have you pet me while I wiggle with happiness!!
