Whinny the Pooch's Story...
Whinny the Pooch's Story...
Whinny the Pooch! And yes, we do mean whinny as in what does a horse say besides neigh? At about 2 years old, for the first few days Whinny the Pooch was with us, we wondered if he spent those 2 years on a farm! Like a true Pittie he truly missed his humans and was devastated to be alone. So much so that once he decided we were his new humans we got to see his jumping abilities... Were there kangaroos on that farm? We are not kidding when we say unless it has a roof it is best Whinny the Pooch not be left attended! A trick he learned from the rabbits that moonlighted as magicians? Poof! There he is by your side! Wagging his tail happy to be by his missing human's side and whole again! We are not sure if there were any children on that farm so with his energy level it is probably best for him to be with older children. But, you never know what other skills he acquired on that farm and may be right home as a country mouse, or even decide he is a city mouse... We can't wait to see!
Act quickly to adopt Whinny the Pooch. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.
We are the West Warwick Animal Shelter. We find homes for the animals in the shelter that have been turned in or are strays. If the animal's time is up or the shelter runs out of room we try to get them into a foster care program to give them more time to get adopted. Any animal coming to us in need of medical care West Warwick Angel's Caring for Animals helps us. We try to do everything we can to do and what is necessary to help better the animals chances of getting adopted. We work with all our animals to try to give people as much information on the animal as we can and to find the most suitable home for them. We want everyone to be happy!
