Here's what the humans have to say about me:
8 - 9 year old Cheyenne lost her home after her owner could no longer afford to feed her - and she was allowed to go hungry for days on end. Despite the starvation, Cheyenne is one of the most incredible dogs we have here. She is happy go lucky, gets along with other dogs, is wagging her tail all the time, and is now fully vetted (spayed, heartworm negative and on preventative, dental work performed, vaccinated against distemper/parvo and rabies, wormed, and at a very healthy weight). This dog is going to make some very lucky person a wonderful friend and companion. If you would like to offer Cheyenne a forever home, please submit an application which you can find on our website (www.almostheaven-golden-retriever-rescue.org) Emailing it will get the fastest response. The cover page of the application will answer a lot of common adoption questions. Please read it before asking.
