Hello! My name is Squish. I'm probably some type of Pug/Dachshund mix, but I don't know for sure. I've heard there are DNA tests that you can purchase, so you may want to pick one up if you adopt me. It would be so interesting to find out exactly what type of dog I am!
I am a spayed female, I've been microchipped already, and I am fully vaccinated. I'm all ready to go!
My friends are guessing that I am about 8 years old. They aren't certain, but it's an educated guess. At just 19 pounds, I'm really the perfect size for apartment living.
I am a very sweet, happy, loving, laid back pup. I get along great with everybody I meet - people and dogs alike! I don't even know what the word "stranger" means. I'm pretty low maintenance. I don't need a ton of exercise, just a couple of leisurely walks per day would be nice. Truth be told, I'm really just looking to cuddle!
I was found as a stray and taken to a local high-kill shelter in terrible condition. I arrived at the shelter with a pretty bad skin infection and hair loss, but I'm being treated for it and, with proper veterinary care, the issue should be resolved soon. In addition, I was filthy, covered in fleas, and I had some pretty bad dental problems. Can you believe that some people neglect their dogs like that? Thankfully, CageFree came to my rescue. They decided to bring me in as part of their pack and help me find my new home. So now all that's left is for you to come and meet me! I just know you'll fall in love with me right away. I'm downright adorable!
