  • Color: Tan/Yellow/Fawn
  • Age: Senior
  • Size: Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
  • Sex: Female
We think it’s time for Izzie to go home.

We’ve come to adore this little darling. She’s turned out to be such a sweet and cuddly little girl. While she’s been boarding at Wedington Animal Hospital, she’s become the favorite of her caretakers. She loves human contact, attention, and snuggles. She loves a nice, warm lap and a good back scratch. She deserves a home where she’ll be pampered and adored.

Izzie is about eight years old and weighs about nine pounds. She’s sight impaired, but we don’t think she is completely blind. We’re still treating a skin condition, but she is healing quite nicely and her coat is coming in really well. She’s spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccinations.

For more information about adopting Izzie, please e-mail us at houseoflittledogs@gmail.com. Or you can contact us via our website here: http://www.houseoflittledogs.com/contact.html. You can submit an adoption application via our website here: http://www.houseoflittledogs.com/application.html.

Our adoption process is simple. We ask you to complete a one-page application. An interview will then take place in your home. There will be no adoption fee. Donations, though, will be appreciated. Adoptions outside of Northwest Arkansas are not out of the question. We welcome sincere inquiries from anywhere, and we’re happy to work with long-distance applicants.

About House of Little Dogs

About Our Rescue Group...

The House of Little Dogs is a rescue/sanctuary for small dogs with medical or behavioral issues. Dogs are pulled from local animal shelters.

We are dedicated to supporting those little dogs in shelters who are in need of medical or behavioral assistance. This process has a two-fold benefit: Immediate relief for the dog, and allows the shelter to divert time and resources to other animals.

We work to bring our Little Dogs to a happy and healthy state and then to find them their forever homes.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are always happy to arrange introductory meetings for our Little Dogs and any potential foster or adopter. We do have periodic adoptions which are announced on our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/HouseofLittleDogs
