Dutch's Story...
Dutch is looking for a home. He is almost a year old and weighs about 35lbs. He's housebroken and crate trained and even knows several commands like sit, heel, down, come, and "go to bed." If you have a fenced in yard in which he can run and play, fill out an application for this cuddle-bug.

Dutch has been fixed, vaccinated for DHLP-P and Rabies, micro-chipped, wormed, flea treated, and heartworm tested. ($550 worth of veterinary care.) If you are interested and have a fenced in yard, please fill out an adoption application first. Allow a day or two to process the application and then call Lisa at 614 254-4641 if she has not contacted you already.
Adoption fee: $350

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dutch, a Columbus Beagle/Pointer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Pointer for sale in Columbus, or seeking a Beagle/Pointer puppy from a breeder in Columbus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Pointer breeders who help with Beagle/Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbus paves the way for another one to be saved.
