Mr. Cassie's Story...
Having 9 lives is great, but I'd really prefer not to spend all of them here, even though everyone here loves me! I am approximately 10 years old and I'm super-laid back. I'm the office cat, and I excel at greeting and head-butting visitors and charming staff and volunteers. I like dogs and kids just fine, so I'd sure enjoy lounging on the couch with the family. I, am, however in HSOC's FOREVER FOSTER program because I have a grade 5 heart murmur and megacolon, for which I take regular medication and special food, so HSOC will pick up all the costs for my medical care. As one lady put it, I'm just an old man, but I still have plenty of good years left in me. All I need is a home, food and water, a clean potty and lots of love to make those years the best they can be. I'm neutered, up-to-date on shots and microchipped. if you'd like to meet me, call 502-222-7537 or email email@example.com. You can find our application at humanesocietyoldhamcounty.com
All adoptions start with an application and a meet-n-greet between the family (and, yes, that very much does include all members with fur and four legs!) and the prospective adoptee. Fees available upon request.
