Indy continues to gain more and more confidence everyday we have him. While it takes him a little while to come up to people, if left alone, he takes the initiative to solicit pets. He really is a good little boy. He is headed on the right path as far as house training. He would probably do best with a family with another dog that can help him and show him the ropes. He does still go to his sister, Betsy for play, but has tried to initiate play from our other dogs.

He also will need a family that will have an even temperament as he does get anxious from loud talking or sounds and who will let him take his time integrating into his new environment. Once he feels comfortable, he is the sweetest little BC, and loves to cuddle.

More to come about this wonderful little guy!

Indy ("Indy Jones") has been here for a week now. He came with his sister, Betsy. He was a little shy at first but has been making great strides in mingling with our other dogs and coming to us for hugs and kisses. He is again, a very small border collie, but has a big heart. He loves to run around the yard with our dogs and coaxing Betsy out to play. It has been a great help for him to be here for her as she feels most comfortable with him around. He is a gorgeous pup. I think his transition to a new home won't be a problem as long as he is allowed to take his time in doing so. We are working on housetraining as it seems he was taught to go potty in his crate which lends me to believe he spent a lot of time in either a crate or kennel. He is getting better and better every day with that. Once he got comfortable with us, he likes to sit on our laps and just hang out to get petted.

He is showing that he is going to be a lovable guy and make a great companion for someone who will have the patience to let the real Indy come out.
