Shadow's Story...
Trust us....you will not be afraid of this beautiful Shadow! Our super sweet German Shepard Mix is one year old and trained through all of those taxing puppy stages. Gorgeous and active, this gal will be perfect for anyone who enjoys a healthy lifestyle. Shadow walks great on a leash, enjoys joining a bike ride and playing tug of war. She is also smart and does her potty business outside. Shadow enjoys the winter months and one of her favorite activities is playing in the snow. With the temperatures outside being so hot, you may ask us HOW we know that! Well, Shadow had a loving guardian. Life takes some sad turns sometimes, and we are now helping her to find a new forever family. Shadow takes a few hours to really warm up to her person. She has exquisite taste, so we applauded her confidence! Once Shadow trusts you and does warm up, she will be loyal to you for the rest of her life. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm tested. We know Shadow will receive multiple adoptions at ITVRescue.org. If you think our gal should be your gal, hurry and get your application submitted. A lucky new pack leader will be humming..."just me, 🎶and my Shadow" 🎶 as they walk out of our rescue door with this magnificent lady at the end of their leash!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shadow, a Evansville German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Evansville, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Evansville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Evansville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Evansville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Evansville paves the way for another one to be saved.
