"DAIZEE" - A quiet,very playful 5 year old! Rat Terriers make excellent house dogs and family companions. Rat Terriers are intelligent, friendly and, if well take care of, will live to be 12-15 years old. This 8 lb. dynamo loves to get tummy rubs, play fetch with soft squeaky toys, and run and play in the play yard. She is healthy and happy! She was owner surrender by an elderly lady who was having to move and couldn't take her.

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit private organization run by volunteers and the organization depends on the generosity of the public and private sectors for operating budget each year. We take in the unwanted, discarded, abandonded, unloved, mistreated, and neglected animals of the area. We do this solely for the betterment of the animals lives in the hope that we can place them in a loving home. Our mission (and our Passion) is to relieve the suffering of area companion animals and to educate the public on the importance of and necessity for altering all companion animals.

Walk-in visitors/potential adopters welcomed on Tues. thru Sat. 10 a.m. - Noon. (or in the afternoon/evening hrs. on those days by appt.) Call 918 649-0986 or e-mail for more information.

Our Adoption Process...

By application (go to and click on the Adoption Form link near top of page) dogs range from $90 to $ 100, All adult dogs spayed or neutered, heartworm tested, and utd on shots before adoption. Puppies and kittens $ 25 - $ 50 and are utd on shots. If pet is adopted before it is old enough to be altered, then adopter will be asked to sign an agreement to have the procedure done by a specific date. Follow up is done. Because PVHS is 90% volunteer organization, whose volunteers work other 40-hr. week jobs, the adoption process may take 4-5 days to complete.
