Bell was picked up on Caney Creek Rd on 7/12/16. She appears to be an older mix of a cattle dog, shepherd, and hound being brindle and white in color. She has a grey muzzle so we are guessing she is 4-6 years old right now but she may be older. She is very sweet. She is good with the other dogs but does get a little irritated if the younger ones get to playing too rough with her. She isn't aggressive toward them just simply lets them know she isn't okay with it and puts them in their place. She is also an escape artist and can find her way out of a kennel if she wants. She will be a very loyal companion.

The current adoption fee is $125 which includes the dogs spay or neuter and Rabies vaccination at a local vet, and covers the distemper/parvo vaccine and bordetella vaccine and dewormings it receives here at our shelter.
After you have brought proof of your dogs spay/neuter back to the shelter $50 of that adoption fee will be returned to you, or you may choose to donate it so that another dog can be spayed or neutered at our shelter.
By TN state law stray dogs are held for 3 days so they can be found by their owners before being put up for adoption or rescue. A dog found as a stray wearing a collar is held for 5 days before it is put up for adoption or rescue. Our shelter is a first come first adopt/rescue facility.There are no holds placed on dogs for potential adopters/rescue. They are available at 7am on the day they are available and must be picked up and paid for at that date/time. An adopter or rescue cannot call and hold a dog to be picked up at a later date. It is available to the public until it walks out the door.
